February Update

Happy February.

It's been a while since I did a blog post but I'm going to try and make it a monthly thing this year (we'll see how it goes...)

ALL ABOUT ME...

Q&A with L A Cotton:

1. What age did you discover your love of books?

I have always loved reading, right since I was a little girl. My favorite childhood books were Enid Blyton and Goosebumps.

2. What do you love to do besides reading?

When I get time, I love to watch TV Series or go to the movies. I'm a huge film geek. I also enjoy spending time with my family or having a peaceful night away by myself.

3. Which Rixon character do you love the most?

Cameron Chase. His story was never supposed to exist and yet it just poured out of me. I owe him a lot!

4. Name three foods you love to eat.

Cheese - in all varieties. I love Brie and Camembert. I also love steak (with peppercorn sauce). And I'm also a huge fan of pasta, especially homemade Lasagne.

5. What do you love most about being an author?

I love running my own business - spending my days getting to create these stories and worlds, knowing that it'll bring readers an escape. I feel very fortunate to get to do this day in, day out.

6. Which destination would you love to travel to?

I would love to visit the Vatican City in Rome.

7. Name an author you love to re-read.

I don't get time to re-read many books but a series I will re-read over and over is Sarah J. Maas' Throne of Glass series. It's definitely my comfort read.

8. Which movie do you love to watch over again?

I really enjoyed Last Christmas with Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding. I rewatched it twice during the festive season and it still gave me all the feels.

9. What do you love about reading?

The escape. The feels. I love a book that can take me out of 'life' for a few hours.

10. Name something you love to do with your family.

We're a busy family so I appreciate having time together just being 'us' - getting some food, going bowling or the arcade, or being goofy together.

What I have been up to lately:

Non-author life has been chaotic recently so I'm trying to find a better balance between work life and personal life. It's a work in progress though. I've also been working hard on my brand-new series Lakeshore U.

ALL ABOUT WHAT I'M ENJOYING...

What I've been reading:

I recently re-read Chloe Walsh's Boys of Tommen Series. Binding 13 and Keeping 13 are two of my favorite all-time books. Then I devoured the new book in the series Saving 6.

What I've been watching:

I have been watching Ginny & Georgia when I get the chance. If you haven't already watched it - I highly recommend it. Season one was great and season two is just as good!

Until next time!
